COVID-19 COMMUNITY UPDATES
- The elevated cleaning procedures that we adopted at the beginning of the pandemic remain in place throughout the property.
- Everyone deserves a safe DC. That’s why we strongly encourage guests to wear masks in the indoor public areas of the hotel. Wearing masks indoors will help prevent infections in our community. We have complimentary masks and sanitizing wipes available at the front desk which will help to ensure a safe stay. Hand sanitizing stations are placed throughout the building.
- While distancing restrictions have lessened in DC, we ask that guests continue to respect the personal space of other guests and Eaton DC fellows in the public areas of the hotel. Likewise, we ask that guests be mindful of others and remain masked while using the elevator.
- Valet parking is available for $55 per night plus tax, with unlimited in and out privileges.
- We will keep the check-in process as contact-free as possible.
- Michele's, Chef Matt Baker's French-American restaurant, is open seven days a week for happy hour (4:00 PM to 6:30 PM) and dinner (starting at 5:00 PM). Brunch is served on Saturday & Sunday from 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
- Wild Days, our rooftop bar, is open everyday starting at 5:00 PM. Reservations are highly encouraged.
- Baker's Daughter, our cafe, is open everyday from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
- Allegory, our lobby bar, is open Tuesday through Saturday starting at 5:00 PM for walk-ins (no reservations).
- We have adjusted in-room dining to contactless takeaway from Baker's Daughter.
- Eaton Wellness is currently open for one-on-one treatments, small group classes, and workshops. Bookings are available online, via MindBody.
- Our fitness center is available 24/7 for guest use, but please see the front office for access. Occupancy will be limited to two guests at a time.
- For meetings & events, we have updated our catering menus to include more pre-packaged, grab and go options.
- We have enhanced our AV capacity to allow for hybrid meetings, with both in-person and virtual components. Please send us an email with inquiries.
Our team has been hard at work on the following impact initiatives:
- Eaton House converted its entire fourth floor into a 3D printing facility, supporting the Print to Protect collective, started by local high school students, which produced 15,000 face shields for local hospitals facing PPE shortages.
- Eaton DC served as our neighborhood’s donation drop center for the DC Mutual Aid Network. Volunteers working out of Eaton House distributed food and supplies to elders and other vulnerable neighbors in Chinatown and Mt. Vernon Square.
- Eaton DC partnered with the American Red Cross to host three blood drives every month at the hotel to help address the global shortage of blood donations. Register for upcoming blood drives on the American Red Cross website.
- Eaton Workshop joined the Indigenous Environmental Network in founding the Protect the People Emergency Partnership Fund, which distributed tens of thousands of facemasks to hospitals, clinics, and community organizations across Native America, including the Navajo Nation. Donate here.
